Grove City is quickly becoming a major destination for those who play disc golf, Frisbee golf, or as some call it, frolf. The town will have 45 holes of “frolf” thanks to a grant from State Farm Insurance and the school district. $40,000 has added an additional 9 holes to the current course at Memorial Park, making 18 holes total. The back nine are in a “partially-wooded area with some changes in elevation. These holes should provide a much greater challenge to the the experienced player,” according to their website. Another professionally designed 18 hole course will be installed at Hunter Farm, while a 9 hole course will be installed around the Grove City Middle School and YMCA.
